Cover:

Our Lifestyle Excess Insurance provides you with excess reimbursement cover up to an annual aggregate limit of £750 following a successful claim on your main insurance policy. This allows an unlimited number of claims up to this amount.

Benefits:

  • Protects the excess on your main residence and/or holiday home against damage to buildings and/or contents.
  • Protects the excess on your pet insurance policy that pays for veterinary costs if your pet becomes ill or is injured in an accident or when your pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen.
  • Protects the excess on your travel insurance policy that covers you for your costs against adverse events
  • Protects the excess on your private motor insurance policy which covers your motor vehicle against damage

Conditions:

  • Available only to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands and are aged at least 18 years of age on the date of purchase of this insurance policy
  • In respect of Your Motor Insurance Policy and Travel Insurance Policy, the Insured Person must be the same Insured Person as stated on the Certificate of Insurance to this Policy
  • In respect of Your Home Insurance Policy and Pet insurance Policy, the Insured Person stated on the Certificate of Insurance must be named on the Your Main Insurance Policy/ies OR it must be in the name of the Insured Persons’

Partner Exclusions:

  • Claims made during the policy’s waiting periods, which are:
    • The first 60 days for pet insurance excess
    • The first 30 days for motor, home and travel insurance excess
unless this policy is purchased at the same time as you purchased your main insurance
  • in respect of Your Main Residence
    • use for business purposes unless agreed in writing by Your Main Policy Insurers.
    • cover for Damage when the accommodation has been sublet.
  • In respect of Your Motor Vehicle use
    • for hire or reward
    • for commercial travelling where You are not the sole user/driver
  • in respect of your pet for any animal other than dog or cat
